Open & Balancing Your Chakras
Sit down with your feet flat on the floor. Do not cross your legs. Hold your head aligned directly over your shoulders and your shoulders directly over your hips and close your eyes. Remember that you are looking at your chakras from inside of your body. Therefore, your chakras will rotate in a counter clockwise motion. Remember too, that your chakras are not only in front of you, but also in the back. The back chakras are directly corresponding to your front chakras and together they are considered to be the front and rear aspect of one chakra.
Imagine a red wheel spinning counter clockwise at the base of your spine area, (the chakra looks like an ice cream cone with a “wheel” on the top of the cone. The base of the cone is in your body and extends about 6 inches outside your body), when you can see that red wheel spinning go to your next chakra (your navel area) and repeat the image of the spinning wheel, but this time the color is orange. Go through all the chakras and imagine the color for the different chakras (both in the front and in the back). When this is done, mentally take a step back and look at all your chakras as spinning wheels in their proper color. Now all your chakras are open.
Remember, during the day your chakras will close and open on a regular basis, depending on what your are experiencing at that time. If you do this exercise every day, you will find that your chakras will stay open more and more.
Invoking the White Light of Protection and Love
While you are working on keeping your chakras open, end that exercise by filling yourself with a bright white light which grows from within your heart chakra, surrounding yourself with the bright white light of protection and love. The light should surround you as an eggshell and will extend itself automatically to surround your auric field, about six-ten feet beyond your body. This exercise should be repeated as often as you want or need during the day.
Consider invoking the light of protection and love whenever you find yourself in a difficult situation or dealing with a difficult person.
Affirmation of Self
Take charge of your life and well-being. Your are not a victim, but a sovereign person. Exercise your free will and remain true to your Divine self. To keep conscious of this fact, repeat the following affirmation in the morning and in the evening.
The Sirian Oath of Sovereignty:
I am a sovereign being,
Exercising my free will in following the spiral path of spiritual growth.
Each day, each moment, each breath, may I become attuned to Divine Will,
To my soul’s purpose.
To act in love and compassion,
That the light may prevail.
